This is a definite Salsa collectors Must Have. This was a great New York Salsa orquesta and included a Who's Who in the very best of Latin Musicians: Bobby Rodriguez, Kako, Barry Rogers, Louie Ramirez, Jimmy Sabater, Nicky Marrero, and many more great artists. Many of these great musicians have passed away, and now residing in Salsa Heaven...Hopefully?

Yeah, great album indeed! I really love "Guajiro Bacán", what perfectly synthesized in one single song the whole sound of this whole era: salsa+soul+funk+improvisation+everything-together-no-problem. Man, I really miss such a great crossover combos, like Mandrill, Azuquita, NuYorican bands, and many others. There are no such an artist today, where everythings looks already defined and in each style well packed. Maybe a great artist like Sargent García and his "Salsa-Muffin" could be an exception. A great record this from Azuquita, anyway, and a great artist name too, by the way. SABORRRRRRR!!! :-)
