Kindness - Otherness FLAC download

This is one of the best and consistent albums I have heard lately. A decent sound design plays a clear role here, Though, where a lot of even the more interesting genres today mistake sound design for music and the fragment (or rather call it a good idea) for a tune, as most prominently "outsider house" or a lot out of the bass continuum going songwriting, the all-over solid and well tempered production here translates a solid concept into musical coherence without being boring musicianship. Still "Otherness" is very much an artifact and very aware of being a 'product'. It might reference to an idea of pop as in, say, the late Style Council/early Soul II Soul. Fortunately it's not like Kindness would jump straight out of the retro hell. I'd love to hear that being played loud in public places.
