I didn't knew this song was a huge hit back in 1982. I was too young I presume. Anyway, Funkstar DeLuxe injects his traditional House vibe in the mix. The "Pool Party De Luxe" mixes have the rhythm slowed down in the middle of the track to flow into the original '82 version, while the "Club De Luxe" versions omits this transition. I think it's well done globally. It could have been on Funkstar DeLuxe's first album, but it was released a few weeks after the initial release. It still is a potent summer anthem, with filters, crowd noises and the original vocals (probably inspired by Bob Marley's "Sun Is Shining").
