my copy sealed. had it for over 20 years. cover has a large pix of the group. syd is upper left corner wearing red and black striped shirt. black sunglasses on.roger is main character in pix. black and white spotted scarf. flower (little ones) shirt. smoke oval glasses. the only member with a smile? wright's face next. below both waters and mason faces.mason above wright to the right. wearing turtle neck shirt. he is the only band member truly looking at you. his eyes follow you when you move left to right or right to left.Back slip sheet is 8.5 x 11. colour is hot pink.cheers,

This is one of the more disappointing Pink Floyd bootlegs. For starters, it's from a very popular bootlegged set (the Rainbow Theater 1972) so there are many other bootlegs out there with the same content. This one seems to have a few bad edits and worst of all it cuts-out early at the end of Eclipse. I mean, the last lines of that song is the money shot and it's completely cut. Just fades out. There is even plenty of space left on the vinyl where it could have played out. Whomever made this clearly wasn't a fan and did a lousy job. Sound-wise, it's meh. Not the worst sounding bootleg but far from the best. I'd say that the most appealing thing about this record is the cover art. I give it a C-

A Classic! If any of you out there are into Pink Floyd, but you've listened to all of their studio albums and still want more, then this is a great listen! This bootleg (an american version of the british "Best of Tour '72" album) captures the first complete live performance of dark side of the moon ever performed, and it is quite different from the finished version that would be released a year later. On top of that, the sound quality is excellent, clear as ever. My one complaint is that there a few cut-outs in the audio, with a bit of the first verse of "Time" missing and only about 2 minutes of "Us and Them" making it on, but aside from that it's a phenomenal listen. It showcases some early versions of "On The Run" (the travel sequence) and "Great Gig in The Sky" (the mortality sequence), and has (in my opinion) the best versions of "Breathe" and "Money" ever performed. For anybody who's interested in exploring the vast world of Pink Floyd Bootlegs, this is the perfect place to start, no matter what album is your favourite. I know it's unofficial, but this album deserves to be in any classic rock fan's record collection, it's just wonderful :)
