I never expect great sound from picture discs, but this pressing is exceptionally bad ???? This record had literally HUNDREDS of loud pops from brand new! ???? It's a shame that there is not a standard vinyl release of this album ????

I've received 3 copies of this from Amazon, and all 3 were badly warped. To make things worse, it's a horrendous pressing, audio wise. Full of pops and clicks, it sounds like a wreck. "Do America" RP is perfect, and actually sounds pretty good, but "Experience" is a total mess. Anyone else having similar issues?

importcds does re-sell returned items. if their multiple stores (importcds.com, deepdiscount.com, ccmusic.com, ccvinyl.com) and ebay accounts aren't enough indication based on the sheer volume of "used" items they selll for a vendor without any physical locations, even brand new releases they have "used" copies of for sale for $1 or $2 less less than 2 weeks after release date. so they're either knowingly selling stuff that arrives to them in damaged condition, or are re-selling returned items. i have personal experience with their shadiness when it comes to that. can't be 100% sure but i'm 99.99% sure that they actually sent me a record I returned to them based on the damage to it. sent back a record where there was a clear defect with how the jacket was printed (cover art was all smeared, like what happens when there is a jam in your printer at home) and I left the shrink on, just slit down to side to be able to take the record out. so i go through their return process and get a refund because they told me the item was on back-order. a few days later they have copies of the record back in stock, but only used copies, and with one of their 15% off coupons the record wound up costing $7 and change. so I bit the bullet figuring it's cheap enough, as long as its not in horrific unplayable shape i'm ok. what they sent me was the a copy of the record with the same smearing of the cover art, with the shrink slit down the side. Now I know this wasn't a widespread problem with the pressing (and the artwork is not supposed to look like that), and I've never even seen copies of any record have this problem. at the very least they don't make it out out for sale to the general public. to put a nice bow on things, later the same day I bought that used copy, the record's status went back to being out of stock - back-ordered.

A great compilation of music that defined the era. Some rare tracks, and funny interaction between the artists and B&B. I think it was the first record i ever bought, and still listen to it now and then. Recommemded!
