Iron Butterfly - Don't Look Down On Me FLAC download

Although both songs sound like they were taken from recording sessions around the time of the band's first album, "Heavy", neither song is available on any Iron Butterfly album or collection.This version of "Possession" is very different from the version on the "Heavy" LP, and "Don't Look Down On Me" is a unique non-album track that has only appeared on this single and on a 1971 compilation called "International Pop Mix" http://www.discogs.com/Various-International-Pop-Mix/release/410990 , also released in the Netherlands.The recording and mastering is a little bit rough, in fact "Possession" sounds a bit like a demo, but both songs are strong tracks in the inimitable Iron Butterfly style. Well worth hunting down a copy of this extremely scarce single, if you can!
