This EP strips away the habits of 'Minimal House' and bares the sonic essentials.Driving kicks, body rocking grooves and tasteful psychedelics come together on these two tracks. Laps really shows his ability to think outside himself as an artist, and know what the listeners need. It is great to see Cadenza release an album that reminds the audience "why they listen to Cadenza in the first place". The "Joyful Process" accomplishes this while also (hopefully) pointing the direction Cadenza releases will tread in the future.A special shout out to the B-Side 'This Broken Heart'. This track is an epic journey not to be missed on a Hi Fi Sound system (or Funktion 1). Fantastic release!
