This record is great (also the presentation: cover, OBI, etc), but it's really not the original music by Pino Donaggio that you hear in the movie.I would describe it more as "a J-Funk tribute to Blow Out", no doubt recorded by studio musicians.The inclusion of the two vocal pop songs by Silvanna is also confusing, as I'm sure these never appeared in the US theatrical cut (maybe in the Japanese version?)Also worth mentioning that the mood of this album is much brighter than the intense and paranoid atmosphere of both the original score and the film itself.
