I love this track. It sounds very Fatboy Slim-ish (who is one of my favourite artists of all time).

with a sample of 'Assault Course' from Johnny Pearson (on KPM Records)

Incorrect. It doesn't sample Johnny pearson. It's from Lalo Schifrin's "Jim On The Move" - which Pearson was himself imitating in HIS track - common practice on many library album sessions.

That's incorrect. "Ooh La La" samples "Jim On The Move" by Lalo Schifrin. The Johnny Pearson tracks copies THAT Lalo Schifrin tune. It was common for library records at that time to plagiarise other tracks - due the sheer volume of material they had to record in the sessions, they often just did variations of what was around at the time - "soundalikes".Do your homework before shouting out sample names. It's even on the sleeve notes - it's a cleared sample.Going on forums and naming samples is the same as being a snitch. Are you trying to cause problems for artists?

One of the quintessential records from the Big Beat era (Fatboy Slim Chemical Bros etc), that pretty much summed up the whole genre! With boombastic drums, a silly old-school hip-hip hook, latin samples and noisy breakdowns. This is what the Big Beat trend was all about. The other side is a very nice underground hip-hop song, for people who dig real rap like Gang Starr, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Jurassic 5 etc. Overall a worthwile purchase for those who like Fatboy style breakz (Big Beat) and 90's Underground Hip Hop
