I can confirm this releases are transferred from vinyl. Even the pitch is slightly different as on the original tracks. Pops & cracks present.
Geny
Cause something sounds "analog" it doesn't mean it is a vinyl transfer. Could very well be a DAT (unmastered more likely) transfer. Highly doubt a Publishing company would have someone rip the audio from a Vinyl to be pressed later on a CDr. That's what bootleggers do...

All tracks are vinyl sourced on this release. Alicia Keys' acapella remains unreleased on a real digital source.

Yep. I bought 7 of these at once thinking they were digital transfers and were sadly disappointed. I ripped many vinyls and cleaned them up and provided better sounding material than what was provided by these EMI disc.

I had a bunch of these at one point... sadly these are vinyl rips transferred to cd... not exact studio digital compression pressed on the cd... not good for diy acapellas sadly!!
