It's not clear what kind of compilation this is meant to be. It's not quite a collection of marquee songs, since some notable superstar collaborators are missing. It's not quite a singles collection, since some key singles were edged out by album tracks and instrumentals. It's not really a balanced career-spanning collection either, since half the tracks are dedicated to the two newest albums. And it's not quite the very best of Schiller - I could argue a good case for a handful of tracks I would rather have seen here.Overall, though, there are enough essential tracks here, and it's probably a good compromise for introducing newcomers, or a perfect release for long-time listeners who never got around to picking up an album. Still, for an act with so many variant releases of the same albums in different regions, there was a real missed opportunity to include a second disc to collect some rarities and album highlights.
