The trumpeter Barrosinho takes advantage of his decades of professional experience to distill in this record the best of his Maracatamba, a mixture of maracatu, samba and other styles that he has developed since the 80s with jazz guise, dressed with great enthusiasm by the band.
Barrosinho, former Banda Black Rio, still plays the finest of trumpet, perfecting the improvisations and venturing into percussion in some tracks.
