This record is perfect if you want to use royalty-free sound effects anywhere you want to. Plus, the addition of stereophonic effect makes it even better. I made a list of my most favourite sound effects from this record: 1. Gunshots 2. Boeing 707 - warmup, taxi, and takeoff 3. News presses 4. Steam train 5. Diving board and swimming pool 6. Fanfares 7. Baby crying 8. Applause 9. Auto skidding and crashing effects, and 10. Rain and thunder. Unusual-looking cover for the early 1970's, since the cover makes it look like it was released in the 1960's. I reccomend you listen to this album with actual Realistic speakers for the best sound. You can always trust Radio Shack for their quality LPs, and they work really nice when I try them in my own home-made movies.

Actually, bobriley, it WAS released in the 1960s! -- 1969, to be specific! (I saw a reproduction of a newspaper ad from that year in Google that featured this very album. Give me a few minutes and I can even get you the web addy so you can verify it for yourself!)
