Gavirim
This LP contains one if if not the best tracks David Holmes has done in my opinion. 'Jackson Jonson' is a fantastic feelgood upbeat track with live drumkit, simple guitar and rolling bass. I always play this when I'm playing in a bar or chilled set and I am always asked who it is by. But that is not the only gem here! There is Pressure Drop's 'Warrior Sound' which was a massive track on the club circuit and of course Playgroup's 'Make it Happen' which eveybody alive is familiar with. Most of the releases are either rare or unreleased (or so it states on the sleevenotes and Make it Happen being one of the exceptions). The David Holmes track strangely, was never released on anything other than this and that alone makes this double pack essential to anybody who likes his stuff.
