First be aware that two editions of this cd exist, this one and a promo version. The promo version has some edited titles and almost half of the music is missing so don’t buy it. This one is the regular version and it is really a fantastic album. Jazz mixed with influences of central european music but not in the commercial fusion that we often hear nowadays. Floros Floridis, Okay Temiz and Harry Tavitian are the most famous musicians in this band. The recording date is not 1966, probably it have been recorded in the 90’s. If we can call it fusion or world jazz, it is in the highest level, fans of Don Cherry will clearly love this record.
