This LP needs a reevaluating for sure and should be given its rightful place as one of the better 'math' rock LP's of the 90's. It's an odd LP, but it is in the post-Slint dark mathy-indie-post-post-emo vein....whatever the fuck that is. I dunno, think a scorched-earth Shipping News combined with the circuitous guitar meanderings of heroin-induced Stephen Malkmus circa 1993, Vitreous Humor and the occasional Cursive-esque squall. The LP is dirt cheap, so, you don't need that $6 diabetes riddled Starbucks drink today as you are going to spend it on the Vehicle Birth's 'Tragedy' and thank me in your own cosmic way. Good night!

Thank god someone said it, I hear not much about this band and seeing one review really hurts. Any slint, June of 44, lazarus plot etc fan would enjoy this lp. Don't get me wrong the lyrics can be a little outdated at times and the vocals stay under a roar. Still a solid release!
