Wooden Purple Romeo
I'll say right from the start that there's nothing intrinsically wrong with the music here. Compositions are interesting, slightly more experimental, more collage, less chugging rhythm with overlaid noodling than you might be used to. The problem I have with this release (small problem) is that the more modern sounding synths used here have a dated badly, bringing to mind a Laurie Anderson album, and not in a good way. A shame really.
