The earliest US releases of "The Band" were mastered by Bob Ludwig and are sought after for their fine sound. They have "RL" in the runouts (but not always on both sides). The RL releases have the green Capitol "target" label and most of them have the names of The Band's members printed on the label. There is a RL Scranton release without the names on the label.Listed in release-number order, here are the RL releases now on Discogs:r3769972 - Los Angeles with namesr4537647 - Jacksonville with namesr6377389 - Scranton without namesr7096424 - Scranton with names

My copy of this STA -132 pressing (with Band members listed on the label) came with a big poster, printed on thin card rather than paper. It's the size of the gatefold plus another 1/3 folded-under along the bottom and the side. Its a street scene with The Band hanging round the "Jook Joint" and "Blackie's Pool Hall". I can't find a scan or mention of this anywhere...does it usually come with this Album?

Hi! That poster usually came with the Band LP "Moondog Matinee" and it actually isn't a poster, but rather a "wraparound-sleeve". Those were wrapped around the cover of the original pressings of that album inside the shrik wrap.-Sam
