It's a disgrace that this release is listed as limited to 500 copies. There is no way that's true, it must be at least 2000 or more based on the number of copies for sale.. Great record but why would a label as great as Bella Union cheat fans?

Still rather amazing that nearly everyone who owns a copy is on discogs... I mean, ownership is pushing 500 here, leaving only a fraction (100) who haven't registered their ownership here. Slightly unbelievable.

A Rough Trade shop assistant told me 500 were for mail order, 100 were for in store sales. I also saw Bella Union selling it at the indie label market.

Got my copy today - the sound is awful. maybe it is my record player.

Mine too. The overall recording quality is quite poor, but there's a lot of scratchy noise on my copy too.

I don't think it's an artifact of the recording, otherwise I'd assume it would be present on boths sides. My copy was new/sealed, so I'm pretty puzzled by this one.

Side A of my copy seems to have a defect, a low level crackling all the way through the tracks. Not present on Side B. Huge disappointment, because the albums great.

doesn't necessarily mean they will get it, though. i've preordered a lot of things that they don't actually receive any copies of, most recently the vinyl films 10" box set that was limited to 500, and thus end up getting a 'sorry, we can't fulfill your order' email. for what it's worth...
