The "Vocal" mix that appears on all singles differs slightly from the album version. It is 6-7 seconds longer due to the spoken "And we go a little something like this. Hit it!" intro, and the vocal take used is different than the one used on the album. The differences are subtle, but the most obvious part is the second last line of the final verse: The single version has him saying "Grabbed my coat and hit the door..." wheras the album has "Wait, slow down love, not so fast...".Also, what is with that near-useless "Funky Acappella"?! It contains just a few small bits and pieces of the vocal...why even bother including it at all? Same thing happened with the Acappellas that were included on Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance" and Salt 'N' Pepa's "Shoop" singles.
