Awesome record, High Society is a nuclear bomb, a must have vinyl for acid techno lovers!

Definitely what he said. And after listening to most of the Wah Wah catalogue. This is probably in the top 3 of that label in fact the whole genre in a long long time :(And still readily available on vinylPretty hard to compete with that Wipeouts track these days the bar went very high here indeedKojak's missing Lollipop deserves an honorable mention as well.Seriously do yourself a favor and get this . If you don't then you will be incapacitated ;) LOL

Phew, if you thought the plug has been pulled out of London's last 303, you need to get your hearing checked. The Wipeouts wipe out all incertitudes and load gargantuan amounts of acid into their High Society monster, forcing your body to perform a somersault twice before the break. If you were wondering where all that great innocent, could-give-a-rat's-ass-about-who's-watching party stuff went - it's right here. This is designed with the sole intention of making you completely lose it. The acid lines are infectious, abundant, and best of all, they're omnipresent, or are at least seeming to be everywhere at the same time. The beats are funky, ecstatic and far-out groovy... Just dance the night away!Remember the kind of organized chaos tunes like Mad Cows On Acid, London Acid City, To The Batrave......Let's Go and Spades use to cause? Well, High Society doesn't fall behind a single bit.The B side is awesome as well, incorporating a somewhat cheesy old pop theme with the acid leads and cracking beats, but for me, The Wipeouts, whoever the hell they are, completely steal the show here. This is a maximal, over the top acid techno manifest that deserves to tear clubs to shreds on a global scale!
