Tou South Wales Evening Post published a series of short lessons in Welsh for beginners druing the three prior to the Swansea National Eisteddfod of 1964. Those lessons were published in book form through the kind cooperation of the then editor of the Evening Post, Mr Froom Tyler, and Llyfrau'r Dryw. This first record was intended for practice in speaking Welsh with the first lesson in the series and deals with a few speach patterns and basic everyday vocabulary, and is accompanied by the written Welsh with in the record sleeve.
