Like The Rage of 1710, I first got this on cassette tape back in the '80s. These days it's not as playable as it used to be. So, I decided to get the CD version. The Sonata by Soler (one of the "extra" tracks on the CD) makes it a worthwhile addition. As for the first movement of Bach's Italian Concerto, the harpsichord sounds too "tinny" to me. I've heard better sounding harpsichords than that. To give one example -> Handel*, The City Of London Sinfonia*, John Rutter, Harry Bicket - The Handel Collection. And another example ->Bach* - Jory Vinikour - Goldberg Variations. The other "extra" track, the Concerto by Locatelli, is OK, in my opinion. Then I decided to get the vinyl version on eBay. Since it's in very good or near mint condition, I'm gonna keep that version. Vinyl lasts longer than cassette tapes, ya know. :-)
