This LP came out in the prime of DJ Premiere's grip on Hip Hop production. I gotta be honest, I slept on this LP a little, I mean I got the 12s and they were dope, but back in the day I bought the OG LP but I suppose back then when Primo was everywhere people kinda just went, oh, OK another Primo beat... however, looking back now with mature ears I was kinda refreshed to hear these joints and this week I've listened to this LP 2 or 3 times, old school style, not bits and bobs from the LP in a mixtape, but the whole LP from end to end, like it was on a TAPE. I won't go into every track, but overall I have jammed this LP all week and will deffo go back to it... I didn't find it tired or past it's sell by date... MCs sound raw & hungry & it gave my belly that fire that you felt in your teens & 20s listening to shit like this... deffo worth a cop, salute!
