Excellent release! Personally, I prefer 003 In Motion, but CD2 of this release is some among the best trance I've had the pleasure of enjoying. Especially that Slusnik Luna track!

This is, or should I say: this was Armin van Buuren at his best. Amazing tunes mixed perfectly one into another, building the atmosphere from the first track to last one. disc number One is more like a 'dreamy' one, and contains some classic club tunes: Quivver Remix of Lazonby's 'Sacred Cycles' and Ferry's 'Galaxia' interpreted by Solar Stone. Second disc represents Armin's dj style: energetic, uplifting and emotional. An unreleased Slusnik Luna track which sets the mood, then awesome mix into 'Devotion' by Yahel, and 'Realistic' by Infernal Machine - you can't get better than this in a trance mix AD 2000, really! The mix flows through different styles (Oliver Lieb remixes, 'Freet', 'Air'). And here it is, in the end: 'Four Elements' by no other than Armin on his Gaia moniker. Pure emotion. And I still don't get it, what do these new Gaia tracks ('Tuvan', 'Aisha', Status blahblah') have in common with this classic. I'm afraid I will never solve this out...An obligatory compilation for any trance beginner. Especially for those, who know Armin van Buuren for his shitty commercial anthems 'In And Out Of Love' or 'Not Giving Up On Love'.
