Although the disc label gives a timing of 6:41 for side B, this 12" contains an over 9 minutes long extended version. Probably this has been pressed by mistake.
This long version remains up to now unreleased in any other form.

Visual inspection of this edition compared to the first issue with the versions that match the labels (4:08 / 6:41) show that on side 1 (both 4:08) the first issue has a very wide runout groove area, this edition is much smaller.

Label 2 says 6.41 minutes, tracklist says 9.21 minutes. Which one is right?

Be aware that there are two Australian 12" singles - identical labels, the only visual difference between the two is one has a very wide runout groove side 1, the other much narrower on side 1. It's the narrow one that, on the other side, has the 9 min + version.

The tracklist is right. The song itself is really over 9 minutes.

I've heard the 9:21 version described as a remix, but it's not. The standard 6:41 12" version is an edit of this version. Where the 6:41 versions fades, this just keeps going for another 2:40.

Am listening to it right now for the first time and yes, it just keeps on going after the 6:41 mark though it contains quite some new elements actually including a sax solo.
