Mall
The original Contempo releases of the self-titled "UltraFunk" and "Meat Heat" LPs are rather difficult to find on the second-hand market and generally fairly expensive if in good condition. The 2CD reissue of both classic British funk/disco gems on the Robinsongs label is a real must-have for the devoted funk aficionado. The reissue brings together all of the group's known recordings - both albums and singles - in one package (with a very interesting booklet included) at an affordable price! Original, inventive, surprising and compelling: probably the finest British funk ever made which hasn't lost a thing of its authenticity to date!
