This review is concerning side A: "Been Talking" the tune is on a "Billie Jean" version. I have a particular affinity for the "Billie Jean" riddim. I just love the sparseness and the weight of the bass. Some of the best versions are of course Shinehead's "Billie Jean" & "Mama Used To Say", the transcendent "Bless Me" by Garnett Silk, Lee Perry's "Chim Cherie", as well as all the relatively recent Furybass versions. But this Version is a absolute monster! Gussie P's version is so heavy that it is almost scary, especially the effect laden intro to the Version with thunder rolling while there is a sound of tape rewinding in the distance, yikes! Michael Prophet adds a doom-laden vocal where he admonishes shit talkers to beware. I cannot recommend this record highly enough. Massive!
