It's easy to assume that Good Looking Records had the monopoly on this sound but a bit of digging around other labels at the time can uncover some real gems that just as good. This is a lovely EP of tracks that really nail the classic atmospheric drum & bass sound. It's great to see records like this so obviously sought after by collectors. These kind of records have dated a lot better than the more contemporary jungle records of 1996.

The sounds of Unreal Tournament 1999. Incredibly similar to Foregone Destruction, and it's fantastic to hear that Michiel van den Bos was inspired by Shogun/Artemis. The vocal shorts, breaks and interlaced synths are perfect for late-night listening.

What a track! If you like intelligent jungle/DnB you will love this piece of musical art... Buy, Buy, Buy!

One of the best pieces of Jungle music you will hear, as previous comment/review "crafty". (perfect).

I can completely lose myself in these tracks - Nautilus, for me stands as a bench mark of everything Jungle should be - its stunningly beautiful and quite ahead of its time - a real gem. Latin nights is a downtempo added extra, different to the typical jungle atmospherics here - but Together is equally beautiful as the A side. If you search on facebook there's a minor campaign (not started by me i should point out) to find and try and bring back Oliver Lomax / a.k.a. Shogun / a.k.a Artemis. Anyway definitely get a hold of the vinyl - put it on near the end of a late night set and see what kind of love you can get from people. Long live beautifully crafted Jungle!
