Digital - In The Lurch EP FLAC download

I don't see what the fuss is about with this release. Sun bites has a nice warm deep roll, the middle transition adds something different and I appreciate a bit of liquid flow in a otherwise very samey year of over produced hark backs to the 'golden' era of jungle across Metalheadz by a load of people who weren't there, but Sun Bites is nothing you haven't seen before. Understand is a good track on par with the stripped back, chilled, dub tracks that's been so such a president of Digitals work over the 5 years or so, lovely but old hat to avid followers of Steve's work. Only You is the most experiemental of the bunch, clicky beats, vocal loops and reverb. For me it doesn't really do much i'm afraid.

had to come back on this - for one reason - Only You - man you did it again what a beautiful track the baseline and sentiment runs so deep like history book - jus a killa in the dance. on reflection the best release on the label for 2017.peace and love in 2018

All three cuts are of the material you come to expect from Digital when he puts a plate out MHDZ - just pure uncut blatant heat for your Technics. Purchase and rotate heavily and often. Peace

Straight five out of five for Sun Bites. Initially I was disappointed with this track but after a few listens at loud volume I really get it. I totally understand why this track was much hyped before release. Digital is well and truly back in my book, this being his first release on the label since 'The Wolf' in 2015 (META025). Great production as you'd expect. The flip sides 2 tracks ain't bad either with Understand being my favourite. Top release. Gonna have to buy the t shirt......
