This official CDr is an early incarnation of the official live album that would be released in July 1998 as [ : RE:BOOT: (L. IV. E ]).
“Re:Bootleg 1” was sold by the fanclub “Transmission 242” on the Winter 1997 - Spring 1998 European tour.

There is a digital glitch of 1 second during “Moldavia”. A total of 6 seconds of the song would be removed on [ : RE:BOOT: (L. IV. E ]) to hide this technical problem.

With the exception of “Headhunter” and “Body To Body”, all the tracks of this soundboard recording were used on the various editions of [ : RE:BOOT: (L. IV. E ]) :

- “Happiness”, “Masterhit”, “Moldavia”, “Melt”, “Soul Manager”, “No Shuffle”, “Im Rhythmus Bleiben”, “Crapage” and “First In First Out” are available on the 13-track version (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6);

- “Punish Your Machine” is available on the 14-track version (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6);

- “Motion” is available on the 15-track edition (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9).

- “Religion” is available on the 16-track edition.
