Kesalard

Serenade is a good track, infact first few times I heard it I loved it, but such is the melody that after a few listens it gets old very quick. Still a real nice Miles Davies sampled tune, very jazzy and laidback. Up there with some of his best work, not quite the peak though, save that for Wax'd, Its On The Way, Babylon etc B side is a totally different vibe, dark tune and shows off D.Kays great versatility as a producer.

Brialelis

"Serenade" is D.Kay's best tune at this point, period. It samples some cozy '20ies/'30ies/'40ies jazz tune I cannot recognize, and crosses it with liquidfunk, the result is pure bliss. The flipside is something which reminds "Martians pt 2" at some point - heavy drums, twisted-out reeses, beautiful melodic intro - in total, better than average, yet no anthem.
