Two stunning remixes, Superpitcher does the tender and tense house thing he does best, total epic dancefloor anthem but to me it is even bettered by Boom Bip's remix, an absolutely remarkable piece of avant hip-pop that is simply grandiose, like Radiohead on a Gregg Araki teenage trip or something. This is how stadium music should sound like.

DON'T SAVE US FROM THE FLAMES, the first single from M83's album BEFORE THE DAWN HEALS US, is the rock-electronic bombast that have helped M83 make a name for themselves. The name "Tina" becomes a cri de coeur, and the buzzing guitars only augment the angst. The b-side, "Until the Night is Over," is a quiet ballad, starting off with a piano line and adding layers of guitar fuzz and strings. Boom Bip, give the track a more abstract rhythm and closely follows the development or the original, adding their own bip-hop digital fingerprints halfway through. But, as always, Superpitcher comes through with the standout mix. Without robbing the original of its power, he repositions the track for the dancefloor.
