Faultless album from Barry, Gene and the team, the players and MCA Whitney Studios CA. There are rumors that this album was mixed for 4ch Quadraphonic and came out as a limited edition USA 8 Track Quad cartridge does any one have this or know anything about this being mixed at Whitney for Quad.

When I listen to my vinyle I have this sensation of "out of phase". The center is really difficult to find...is it because of that quadraphonic mix ?

A great record of Barry White & Gene Page's work, creativity and pure skills in 1974. Another flawless volume.The album's biggest cut was "Satin Soul" A USA "A" single and oddly religated to the "B" side in the UK The UK album and single's labels are a light turquoise with all black text. Pye did not switch to the USA full colour labels till 1976.Satin Soul featured as the opening number on Barry Whites first UK mini-tour proper commencing with two sold-out shows at London's Royal Albert Hall. (Mr Sid Garris conducting in a fetching royal blue kimono and cream slacks)."Dreaming" is an up-date fuller and full-on arrangemnet and re-recording of the tracks original concept and recording for the Together Brothers film soundtrack.The Album had a Quadraphonic mix and was USA released as a very limited edition Quad 8 Track Cartridge 40 years later still waiting for that unique Quadraphonic mix to surface on vinyl format!!
