Mushicage
Simple, simple, simple yet so catchy and good. The intro on both mixes reminds me of Abfahrt - Come Into My Life. A wind-like chord blowing with the melancholy of a robotic voice repeating Hypnopedia. Melody is typical German Techno / New Beat. And samples various vocals, typical for late 80's / early 90's techno / New Beat to sample simple yet, effective quotes about dancing and technology and various other topics. Melody is unforgettable. And all the vocal samples fit very good together. Just like a lot of late 80's / early 90's Techno / New beat. This sounds a lot like early prototrance. A trance music fan looking for some history about the style. BOY Records (Germany) is a good label to check for plenty of underground classics.
