Led Zeppelin - Going To California With Led Zeppelin FLAC download

This show needs no explaination and is one of the classic Zep vinyl boots up there with Blueberry Hill. Allegedly the master tapes have been long lost and subsequent issues of this show have been culled from the original vinyl pressing from 1973. This latest vinyl release from No Label is nicely packaged and sounds as good as it gets. I can't say this is an improvement in sound from more recent reissues such as from The Godfather on CD a few years ago, but if you want it on vinyl in a better mastered quality from the original, you cant go wrong with this especially at the price.

This here"cat n dog" was probably pressed @ LEWIS by WIZARDO- but almost all deep groove{ers} by him were on COLOR VINYL !Anyone agree?? Thanks

This is the absolute first original pressing of this classic concert as released by Dub circa late November/December 1971. A heavy weight excellent pressing at that. It was released at the same time as the Crosby Nash "A Very Stoney Evening" LP. I am unsure why this entry is listed as being on Berkeley Records as it is a known Dub release, hence TMOQ release. Later pressings from different plates had the TMOQ pig label plain cover as well as the famous William Stout cover. This release precedes those pressings which some believe to be the original pressing. It is a spectacular sounding show and the source recording really captures what can be best described as a 3D atmosphere in stereo while the band delivers a truly inspired performance. This is a very special pressing and to hear the band journey through each selection with such varied spontaneous improvisations, especially during the epic numbers, is always a fun listening experience and historical document.

My version is white label CLZ-1-4 Sleeve paper sheet is pale green with blue ink. Elephant pic 'Trademark of Quality' in balloon.Track listing looks handwritten. Same as Going To California With Led Zeppelin, 2LP, W/Lbl, Unofficial, CMZ-1-4. Dodgy copy? Purchased around 1982.

The white label indicates this was pressed by a 'no-name' bootlegger.
