Anyone know where I can still grab these reissues or if they were sent to record stores?
Helo
You'd be extremely lucky to find this pressing anywhere outside Discogs and Ebay now.

Sounds FANTASTIC. Highly recommending this repress. Also Deadwing is just as brilliant soundwise on repress.

I own the 2010 Tonefloat issue and wonder whether this new release is a step up sound wise or not. Anybody out there who owns both have had a chance to compare them?

Thanks for the reply. I've ordered the new one and am awaiting its arrival. I see on the Dynamic Range Database that this new release supposedly has 2-3db better range than the Tonefloat so I look forward to comparing the 2. The Tonefloat has the extra tracks and is very nicely packaged and I like the blue marbled vinyl and textured cover.

I own both and did a A/B on Gravity Eyelids and dot3.......I am wondering on the 2018 issue did SW simply reduce volume rather than a "remix" of tracks? I find on the new issue the bass notes on Gravity and dot3 are not as intense, deep as the 2010 issue. I also find on dot3 the strings do not come in with power and depth as they do on the 2010 issue.....So far these to me seem some differences. Overall I am pleased with the new issue, right now the 2010 issue seems a tad "better" for these reasons, I'll continue to spin it and eventually I suspect either issue will do me just fine. The 2018 is an impressive pressing, I do hear a bit of surface noise but nothing obnoxious.....I have a pretty resolving analog end running a Lyra Delos and MS Nova II phono stage, Parasound Halo.....So my differences can be minimal but I am hearing it.....It's all good!

the tonefloat pressing sounds fine, but this pressing sounds so much better because steven had a chance to properly "remaster" the record to suit itself (instead of being overly compressed). the music breathes a lot better. i only wish that it came with a digital download. (same goes for the new pressing of deadwing)

Excellent re-press, very happy with the quality of everything overall - only slight disappointment is the omission of the bonus track Chloroform that the previous vinyl pressing had on side C...
Iaiastta
Excellent re-issue; sounds fantastic, super quiet and the packaging and artwork is brilliant. Only very slight quibble is that the spot varnished artwork on the outer sleeves isn't replicated with this issue.
Dondallon
Anyone have it yet? Let us know how it sounds?
Utchanat
It sounds superb. A flawless pressing. I pre-ordered it - glad I did now!

... fully agree! ... only a few left in stock!
Jake
