If you love music to play in the dark 1 you will love this album .The music Expresses magic and beauty . Favorite tracks : Something - Great opening // lots of wind and Wind Whistle by electronic sounds with whispering voice -Something Something Something Where Are You? - Minimal music with the beautiful touching voices of John Balance and Rose mcdowall ,the hypnotic atmosphere gives you the feeling that you are inside a dream.The visions from the music connect perfectly with the album cover . Batwings (A Limnal Hymn)- This song is the ultimate magic !The track starts with strange sound effects and organwith John Balance spoken word in a low volume, after 7 minutes Balance raises his voice- he sings and prays in a strange foreign language,Now the singing is louder and comes from 2 different channels. The voices are so clear and beautiful,you feel that this is the only sound in the world, near the end (The 11th Minute ) only one voice remains,the voice repeats the same line a few times until the end.

Having horribly neglected COIL since the late 90s and due to the fact that they are no more, RIP P.C>J.B - i thought it was time i caught up with their catalogue now that downloading has helped with obtaining this very expensive groups discography. This album and its companion are beautiful LPs and i cant believe i didn't hear these when they came out. Never mind. I am now blissfully wallowing in there entire repertoire. I must admit though, Loves Secret Domain is my personal fave.
