Maybe the release of the remastered vinyl edition in February 2018 will put an end to the ridiculous prices asked by sellers on here?

Unfortunately this album has not been reissued because Warner Brothers is in the process of divesting their Porcupine Tree catalog. This has been dragging on for years. I think the same goes for In Absentia. The albums are in limbo.
Sadaron above the Gods
not anymore, K-scope now have the rights to both in absentia and deadwing, i know this because on spotify at the the bottom of the tracks when you click on the album you can see it says K-scope 2017 as of 25th august '17 . So represses shouldn't be too far around the corner.
Rasmus
The red version has a misprint on Meletron scratch song.
Uanabimo
This album must be reissued in a future by the Kscope label!!
Hallolan
In absentia also was released by lava and however have a vinyl reissue on tone float records
Painwind
Copyright is in the hands of lava/warner ...as long as they don't care ...
Yananoc
Unfortunately the album is owned by Universal Music, Ive contacted them several times telling them there a great deal of cash to be made by doing a limited repressing but alas they tell me its not in their plans. So we shall have to wait... Furthermore Ive talked to Kscope and they aren't interested on getting the right to it although they said if they owned it theyd have reissued by now.

That wouldn't be a nightmare, my friend. That would be justice.
Anaginn
I've had nightmares about that! A reissue of deadwing will make the value of the original pressings plummet.
FRAY
Prices like for 1st "Abbey Road" release :). Love this album, but why, why, why so expensive?!?!
DART-SKRIMER
It was put out by a pretty small label and the guy that owned the label passed away, so there could be some legal things to iron out before SW and PT can repress this. While I've not heard the red version, I can tell you the blue version sounds AMAZING!
Kalv
$1,000?! Has Mr. Wilson seen this?..
