Naz's only release on MCA. This album still sounds great today. If ZZ Top hadn't released Eliminator around the same time, this album may have had a shot, as this album too, utilized sequencers and synths mixing them with hard rock to great effect. It would have also helped if MCA actually did something to promote this album. Maybe if Naz were on Warner at the time instead...Interestingly, this pressing is the only version that uses this tracklist, which I feel flows much better than the standard tracklist used by the rest of the world. Mastering is great on this, but this is a fantastic sounding recording, so that helps, too.Funny MCA didn't do much for Naz, because about 5 years later they reissued this album (minus 2 songs) on a cassette only release titled "All Nite Radio". Too little, too late. Sound Elixir was the last Nazareth album to see a US release until Griffin Records picked up 1991's "No Jive" in 1993!!!
