Beydar
This album starts off with a bang! Killer melodic riffs and razor sharp vocals carry the first track dressed with a lightning fast guitar solo and some cool keyboard work. In the very first few seconds of track 2 you get a taste of the deadly bass work going on, a glimpse into the great production of this album thanks in no small part to the legendary Scott Burns. Track 3 sports another incredible riff and some more chunky as hell bass. Have I mentioned the drums yet? They're not a standout aspect, but of course they're handled professionally and efficiently. Keeping rhythm at death metal speeds is not an issue for Flynn. There are brilliant drum moments here, one is a pummeling breakdown on On they Slay. Speaking of On They Slay, another sweet solo.Near the end of the album, the intro to No Truth is an incredible piece of atmosphere.This whole album is really consistent. Fantastic groovy old-school style death metal. Unique vocals and great production put this album ahead of many peers. Totally worth a good jam. 8/10!
