An amazing EP with 3 great songs. Your Love is probably my favorite of the lot. Here in the SF bay area Charly was overplayed and killed to death but its still good to listen after a while.I remember my roommate even liked Charly and he was a member of a local rock band. He though it was pretty unique to get cat sounds from a sampler.

The Cat sound was sampled from a UK public information film from the 1970s.

In the August 1992 edition of Mixmag, Liam Howlett was heavily criticised for "killing rave" with this release. At one stage it suggests that in future Liam will "always be remembered as the boy with the toy cat". Superb! And Mixmag will be remembered for????????? Well, being burnt!

Just browsing through my collection and came across this release and comment. I'm laughing my pants off here. If anything, Liam Howlett and The Prodigy were pioneers of Rave/Breakbeat/Hardcore. If I can find the few old copies of Mixmag that I might have stashed away somewhere, I think I will burn them as a symbolic gesture. Maybe the person who wrote that crud should have tried making something like this instead of trolling in a magazine, I suppose they have to write something to get paid though. What a crock. Also, Charly as good as it is, is not the only release on this EP, Pandemonium and Your Love are both excellent tracks as well.
