Ok, time to review this 12. I picked this up a couple of months ago although it was released the tail end of 13. I have a lot of Metalheadz on vinyl, and also a lot on Moving Shadow, and like the review below I'm surprised it's taken this long for Dom to get a release out on Metalheadz. Obviously Dom has released a lot on Moving Shadow of which I already have a fair bit already, so I personally was very interested to find out how this would sound - especially the A side which is a not so much a remix, but more of a nod to Goldie's Jah the Seventh Seal, the original of which is on :- http://www.discogs.com/Goldie-Timeless/release/3182540As I said, more of a tip of the hat rather than a full on remix, the elements of the original track are all there, if altered slightly. The original is one of my favourite tracks from the G Man and Rob, and Dom has kept the flavour of the original but put his own talented unique spin on an already awesome track. Have a bit of fun and mix this version in with the original. I was really surprised at the results.... On the flip is a really nice dark roller, typical Dom, and dare I say it? Typical Metalheadz. What I mean is, a perfect collaboration. Seamless. I'd love to know where the sample on Outta Endz comes from. One sample is definitely from Haemaglobin by Flat 47, but the sound in the background of the intro and the first breakdown is from a Sci-Fi film, like Blade Runner or Star Wars. It's bugging me because I've heard it before but can't put my finger on it. All in all though, this is a quality release on a quality label, by a very talented geezer. Buy it junglist brethren. Definitely one of my favourite releases at the moment. Rinse it loud and enjoy.

Unreal to think that this is the first D&R release on Headz - anyway well worth the wait and its lining up to me my favorite D&B 12" of 2013 - straight dancefloor wreckas !!!

Sickness and the first release by Dom on Headz! One of the best releases of 2013 and one that just needs to be owned on vinyl. Both tunes are solid tribal numbers, breaks and bass to rock any floor and classics for sure. Brilliant once again from the Dark master. One listen and i'm sure you all will agree

I know pal. I meant debut solo release. He was mentioned on the credits no? Will dig my copy out!

Dom & Roland collaborated on Ed Rush's Skylab EP back in 1996. He just was not credited ...
