Emperor - Prometheus - The Discipline Of Fire & Demise FLAC download

I know Back on Black gets a lot of stick, but this pressing sounds a lot better than the first press / latest reissue. Spreading it out across 4 sides works wonders here - the single LP versions sound compressed as hell.

The vinyl looks gorgeous with beautiful center labels. The sound quality is awesome, and the layout is nice if you like this album get this you won't be disappointed. m/

The 2005 Back On Back vinyl reissue does not sound good at all. At first you think it's all decent but slowly you start missing details of the music and it becomes a bit of a mess....you'll end up with a headache at the end of the album because of the bad quality. Even the gatefold cover looks cheap compared to the original or the 2017 repressing which sounds and looks so much better. The music itself is of course brilliant progressive black metal but this 2005 pressing doesn't do the music justice at all, thankfully the label realized and released the superior 2017 pressing.

These 2017 original version replica vinyls sound awesome! Packaging and records look great too. I now own Anthems to the Welkon, IX Equilibrium and Prometheus and they all look and sound amazing! These are the 2017 Candlelight colored vinyl versions.

Regarding the new mastered for vinyl, original replica. Sounds really good to me!
