WOW!! an absolute MAsterpiece! I've owned the original on cassette and cd, & the remastered one with the annoying beep version of the vox on these boots but this is without a doubt the best these songs have ever sounded. If you want a copy of KIB on vinyl look no further you're in 4 a treat! the center labels look great too with Vic on em also The originally concieved Cover imagined by Dave Mustaine appears on this in all its pristine glory! the original artwork from the 80's was terrible. I'm really glad he fought to bring the real version out on the newer releases, it looks even better on here with the blood added and the logo in silver than on the remastered version. Don't think buy a copy for yourself now & don't look back!! OH & Don't 4get to RATTLE YO HEAD!!!!! m/

my copy just has 2 of the actual studio album. No bonus tracks. Just two of the exact same record lol Anyone else come across this? I bought it sealed

Sounds ok, the instruments are pretty solid and I've heard some melodies I had never noticed before. Strongly recommended

Tracks are not in correct album order on lyrics sheet. Also for the song KIMB, three lines of lyrics from Skull are inserted after the line "$10,000 up front", starting with "And as we fold your arms".

My copy (from Pledge Music) has two Side B labels on Record one. Is this a common mistake?

Mine, also the signed version from Pledgemusic has got all the tags right: A, B, C and D. Treasure your gem as it's probably limited in that regard. Sending a complaint would be ridiculous.

I would email the company and tell them you got a defective LP. That is defective in my book and you as a customer deserve to have the proper product. Email them and see what they say.

If somebody wants to, this should be edited to say REMIXED, also. It says so on the front sticker and in the press release, I think.

I'm loving my copy of this, but has anyone notice the pixelation/low res album cover art or is it just my copy?

Ok, so I finally got around to playing this. While the remastering and remixing was done quite well, the quality of the pressing isn’t very good. Fidelity is solid, but there is a fair amount of background noise. Mine also has a slight warp and the edges are sharp and unpolished. And I’ve already commented of the poor image quality and average jacket materials.

Mine is also printed in low resolution. Pure work, fast money ????

Not just yours. I was expecting a high quality image for the cover, after how I was hearing that the art work was supposedly recreated. The packaging is average at best... below average actually. I haven’t spun it yet, so hopefully the fidelity impresses more than the packaging.

I have 2 copies of this. Exact same labels and matrix runouts but one is noticeably heavier vinyl than the other.

As many of you may know, Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica. In turn, he formed Megadeth to be faster, heavier, and more extreme as opposed to Metallica. I know I'll get heat for it, but I prefer this to Kill 'em All. Sorry, but Kill 'em All is just open low-E.

Surely every heavy metal fan knows the story of Dave Mustaine being kicked out of Metallica and forming Megadeth? Right? No? Ok, I'll wait here while you quickly look it up.Done? Good. With Megadeth, Mustaine had one goal, and that was to create something faster, heavier and more extreme than his former band. It's arguable, but I'd say he succeeded. 'Killing is My Business' certainly has a raw, ruthless energy to it, and whilst it oozes bloodthirsty hatred towards Hetfield and Ulrich, it sadly comes at the expense of the actual compositions. Sure, the riffs are fast, the vocals are full of spite and bitterness, and the songs rage with angst and rebellion, but to be honest, it quickly becomes very repetitive. The horribly tacky and rushed production makes most of the riffs indistinguishable, and the guitar solos sound like nothing more than an annoying, high-pitched flail of notes. And I'm fairly sure a five-year-old could come up with more interesting vocal melodies than this. There's only really one or two memorable moments on this album. 'Last Rites – Loved To Deth' is probably the only song I'd consider passable, whilst all the others have the odd riff here or there, but there really is nothing that can truly save this debut. Then there’s ‘Mechanix’, the infamous song that Mustaine introduces as; “There’s their version, and there’s OUR version”. Sentimentality aside, Metallica's version (titled 'The Four Horsemen') is simply better in every way.Megadeth are a fantastic band, and this is really the only record of theirs I don’t like. I've got to believe that if this was the debut from any generic thrash metal band in the 80's, they probably never would have made it to the 90's. Thankfully for Mustaine, he was a member of the genres biggest band and had garnered himself a cult following that gave him the opportunity to progress past this album. And to be fair, most metalheads in the 80's loved it regardless. 'Cause they'd buy anything anyway. God-awful debut, but better things are coming.

I got one of these, and it sounds amazing. It also looks amazing on the the white vinyl it's pressed on. Would recommend if you can get your hands on it.

00BMUL4LQX3 BOBV065LPLTD (2013) LP versus Combat 88561-8015-2 (1986) CD with correct matrix versus 004KLMPW6X4 9962300 (2011) CD:BOBV065LPLTD (2013) LP have the exact same non-remastered sound as 88561-8015-2 (1986) CD (first press).9962300 (2011) CD is a secretly remastered version.The non-remaster win it by the thinnest of margins with a poor production, raw, natural.The remaster was so close to win it with a loudness attack, through not mega loud, completely restored sound from the master; we can hear notes a LOT sharper and passes we thought did not existed. This is a rare case where having both remaster/non-remaster presses are needed.

CD. I do have a French Vesion with the same Barcode 5016583104627 as the UK VErsion "CDMFN 46". Could some one tell me if it's the same or a different oen?

This thing looks and sounds phenomenal! Just got mine last night, it's the original version too not the newly remixed/remastered version. So cool to have the original, his vocals are immature, his guitars are light speed fast, and Gars drumming is loud and upfront for all his flare to shine forever! Get this album!

Would be 5 stars but "These Boots" is annoyingly edited with bleeps.
