Being a massive jungle/Drumfunk addict for 20+ years now and owning literally every single Paradox Music release, I objectively feel this is the label's most lackluster and ostensibly boring 12" to date. I rarely scribe negative reviews on Discogs, but if you were to have a single gap in your Paradox Music collection, this one would be the most forgettable. Personal favorites are 005 (Curse of Coincidence/Future's Exstinction), Seba 004 (Steel/Piemo for B), the split with Equinox 020 (Eternalism/Paralyze Babylon), and 025 (Dirty City/Marxism). I personally feel as though his B-Boy stuttered early 80's breakdance inspired tunes are a bit tired (see PM029 and Esoteric013). While every classically-appreciated Paradox tune doesn't have a chopped amen, gritty analog Amiga bass, or lush drawn-out pads, the elements that make Paradox tunes so immensely timeless and amazing are too simplified and stale in his recent B-Boy Breaker output, making repeated listens not the same rinsin journey that so much of his production encapsulates. Love the label and artist, but I hope he's moving away from this style soon.
