Stellar come back for Fluke. "Puppy" is a perfect follow up to "Risotto" (Circa/Astralwerks), and again plants a firm stamp on Fluke's agressiveness to push boundaries. This album starts off with "album mixes" of the string of 12" releases from the elusive "Slap It" (that would later be re-invented as "Another Kind Of Blues" made famous from the "orgy" scene from The Matrix 2) and up to "Hang Tough". Finishing out the album (in "Risotto" style) are a handful of dreamy, mysterious tracks that blur the lines between multiple genres. Great stuff from a group that has grown by leaps and bounds in the past years.
