It's all about the B-Side on this one, which deserves more love. The production is ragged, the muffled (I'm no producer) drum pattern and phased/phlanged vocal and delicate synth sounds come together well. Combine this with dubbed out echoing of the vocals, the pounding (808?) bass and analogue incidentals on the drop and you get an original jungle score, that I think would satisfy the thinking junglist. And btw, I don't know what's happening with the uploader's version, but my vinyl's levels are sound. In fact, I would hazard a guess that unless you listen to Running from vinyl, you'll probably lose half the point of it, as all that analogue dissipating out the speakers and filling the space you're in is, basically, sexy as fuck.
