Fecage
I also have a blue note that is a 1972 release label and record-wise. No clue as to the cover however. I bought this at a library while rushing to go dig elsewhere, was surprised at the the 5.99 price tag bought it and jammed... Came home and found out I bought a 1974 release of 'Saudade,' with the wrong record, . Still was pretty cool to see on the cover a nice note from Moacir to his student signed, "One more time, Pasadena 1974."

And Clare Fischer's first name is spelled Clair. - clearly an error on the album and here as well.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clare_Fischer
Steelcaster
Roman numerals on my copy indicates 1972 United Artists as the publish date.
Mustard Forgotten
Just sharing my doubts about the date on this. According to the FM Airplay Report in the March 3, 1973 issue of Record World, KZEL-FM in Eugene, Oregon already was playing the LP as of that date.
