Album made directly from the one and only Apple Corps acetate made in 1974, rediscovered in London 2018
The master tapes, other than the second generation masters used on the Village Thing debut album and re-issues, were lost in a domestic fire in 1982.
Tracks recorded in London and Dublin between 1971 and 1974
First generation master tapes compiled in an attic in Dublin by Chris Thompson in 1974
First cut test pressing, 50 made. 12 copies reserved for the box set of the complete range of hard copy music formats
Mid range sound intensity reduced 2dB said to assist tracking. Album was re-cut for the final version.
Sold in either URP test pressing red cover with centre hole, or the to be album cover with insert
